Lumières d’Afriques in Johannesburg… between dismantling and virtual visit

Wednesday 14 October 2020

The “Lumieres d’Afriques” exhibition, which was previously on display at the Standard Bank Gallery in Johannesburg (South Africa), has been dismantled… waiting for the next exhibition to come!

This exhibition is the first in the history of contemporary art to present works by 54 world-renowned artists, one from each state on the African continent. These 54 artists engage in the same artistic gesture around the theme of access to energy, according to a common idea: there is no future, no growth and no progress without electricity.

These works and this exhibition remain visible thanks to the incredible virtual gallery!

Enjoy your visit!
