Closing of “Lumières d’Afriques”at Théâtre National de Chaillot and exhibition of some of the works at the Gare du Nord Eurostar lobby until 1 February 2016!
The exhibition “Lumières d’Afrique”ended yesterday evening, Tuesday November 24 2015, at the National Theatre of Chaillot.
“Lumières d’Afriques”was an exceptional adventure, marked by strong performances like Athi Patra Ruga’s or Niangouna Dieudonné’s reading, and rare encounters with remarkable artists.
African Artists for Development would like to thank all the artists who participated in this major event, but also its partners, Orange, the Schneider Electric Foundation, the National Theatre of Chaillot and Tilder, without whom the exhibition could not have taken place.
All the team of African Artists for Development would also like to thank the thousands of visitors who came to visit the exhibition.
“Lumières d’Afriques” is fortunately not yet over: indeed, the exhibition aims to continue its journey and travel beyond the borders of Europe. Before its great departure to Africa, particularly in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, you can find some of the artworks in the Eurostar lobby at Gare du Nord from November 27th 2015 until 1 February 2016!
