The inauguration of the exhibition “Lumieres d’Afriques” took place on April 2nd of 2019 in the capital city of Morocco, Rabat. Art pieces achieved by no less than 54 renowned african artists were displayed in the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. Among these artists, Amina Zoubir, Nyaba Ouedraogo, Aminata Sow, Hassan Musa and Mouna Jemal Siala were all present during the inauguration. Gervanne and Matthias Leridon, the two presidents of Africa for Development, as well as M. Abdelaziz El Idrissi, the Museum President, Mehdi Qotbi, the FNM président, Michel Sapin, the former french minister of the economy, Jean philippe Aka, an expert in african contemporary art, moroccan government officials, and many more were also present.
