For International Women’s Day, African Artists for Development celebrates all women in Africa and in the rest of the world who fight daily to make their voices heard.
For many years, AAD fights for gender equality through its various programs. Women for Water, Refugees on the Move, les Belles Bibliothèques, Operation Prevention … are some of AAD’s projects that ensure women access to education, culture and equality of opportunity.
For this occasion AAD is proud to present Amy Sow’s exhibition “Femmes muselées” at the French Institute of Mauritania. Amy Sow is one of the artists exhibited at Lumières d’Afriques, a touring exhibition, that will very soon be in Abidjan.
