In the Mole refugee camp in the Democratic Republic of Congo, dance workshops and performances still have great success. Dieu Béni and Manuella are two trainers who took over the dance workshops after the departure of Fabrice Don de Dieu and his troupe in order to keep the program alive. These workshops also continue with the provision of a dance space by UNHCR.
It was with a choreography carried out for the occasion that the inhabitants of the Mole camp welcomed the regional deputy representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in mid-January. This proves – if proof were needed – the success of the Refugees on the Move program in Mole’s camp.
