+D’AFRIQUE team on Canal+ welcomed this week Jean-Pierre Cabasso, village chief of Makwacha. He came with two women artists of Makwacha who performed original work live on set.

The show looked back on ADD’s commitment to the community of Makwacha women through the “Water for Women” program and the Makwacha exhibition organized by AAD from the last 7th to 27th of April at ‘La Maison des Métallos’ in Paris. In his interview Jean-Pierre Cabasso comes back to the origin of these paintings and this art and the importance for the community of women of Makwacha to transmit this heritage to future generations.
